DEAR HUMANS...Response to Dragon Fuel

Updated: Oct 3

I have been cooking up this response to the first introduction to Dragon Fuel since I posted this story. As the world keeps doing its thang, one big event after another, this feels really important for me to write. I want to share this for now, but I will finish it soon....

Dear Humans,

Thank you for taking your time in reading the first introduction to Dragon Fuel. Though this story was conceived out of my imagination, a part of me feels the resonance between the story and reality. We are living in that timeline in our own form. We have been sucking on the teat of petroleum and oil for so long, and so aggressively (without even being conscious of it!) that it's been corrupting our DNA - it's in the air that we breathe, the water that we drink, and every bit of plastic that we use and discard without a second thought. We've allowed industry and capitalism to spiral out of control that most purchases are now riddled with so much karma we don't realize we're racking up - for ourselves, and for the children of the future (which we become at some point if you believe in reincarnation).

The same seduction that lured the Dragons towards their downfall all those many millenia ago, is tempting us right now. We have the opportunity, however, while we have the freedom to, to change course. I know it feels like a lot, and you just want to get back to the regular scheduled program, but the time is now to act, because we've ignored the truth for far too long, and it's coming to collect.

I believe there is a Dragon in everyone, and I have come to understand that part of my Dharma is to see and acknowledge the Dragon in those that let me in, to meet as souls, so that we may truly figure out how to move in harmony from that starting point.

I'm not here to change anyone's mind, or to persaude anyone from one side to another. The only side I'm on is the side of humanity and the collective living Earth. I have started to pour my soul and intentions in this space so that I can find those that resonate. I'm having a hard time integrating back into regular society because deep in my soul, I know that society is changing faster than we want to admit. I also know that I am a part of the problem, and it is part of my Dharma to change my lifestyle and my mindset first.

I believe in the magic within every human being. Each soul has the potential to bring beauty into the world. That beauty, cooperation, and courage is our best chance to turn this ship around.

To be continued…

But before I go, I want to share something timely. Next week we are under the light of the Harvest Supermoon — one of the brightest moons of the year. Traditionally, this was the moon that gave farmers the light they needed to gather their crops late into the evening. Spiritually, it reminds us that what we’ve planted, nourished, and tended all year is now ready to be harvested.

The Harvest Moon is an invitation. It asks us: What are you harvesting in your own life right now? Are you gathering lessons, relationships, courage, or maybe a deeper connection to yourself? And just as importantly, what do you need to leave behind in the fields so you don’t carry it into the winter?

This feels directly connected to our collective story. Just as our ancestors harvested grain under this moonlight, we are being asked to harvest the wisdom of our choices — to recognize where we’ve been draining ourselves with “dragon fuel,” and instead gather the strength, beauty, and courage that will carry us forward.

So, under this Harvest Moon, I invite you to join me in a simple practice: take a deep breath, give gratitude for what has ripened in your life, and gently release what feels heavy. Let’s start creating space for the next chapter together.
