Happy Pi Day! (3.14)

Honouring the Cycles of Life in a Modern World

ree

As we celebrate Pi Day (3/14), let’s take a moment to recognize the beauty of the infinite, the unbreakable, and the cyclical—just like sacred sisterhood. Women have long gathered in circles, a shape that symbolizes unity, equality, and boundless connection. Much like pi, the relationships we cultivate in sisterhood are never-ending, evolving, and deeply intertwined with the fabric of life itself. Just as pi is a constant, so too is the support and love we share when we embrace the power of our tribe.

Pi (π) and the Divine Feminine / Sisterhood

  1. The Infinite, Cyclical Nature of Women

    • Pi is an irrational number, meaning it never ends and never repeats—just like the deep, infinite nature of feminine wisdom and the cycles of life, death, and rebirth that women embody.

    • Just as the moon cycles and the menstrual cycle reflect endless patterns of renewal, pi represents the eternal, the unbreakable, and the ever-unfolding mystery of existence—much like the magic of sisterhood.

  2. Sacred Geometry & the Circle of Women

    • Pi is all about circles, and what is more symbolic of women and tribe than the sacred circle?

    • Women have gathered in circles for centuries—whether for healing, storytelling, or spiritual rituals. There’s power in the shape of the circle, where everyone is equal, there’s no hierarchy, and energy flows freely.

    • When we dance together, we often move in circular motion—mirroring the shape of pi’s infinite cycle.

  3. The Unbreakable Bond of Tribe

    • Pi is a constant, something that never changes, no matter how big or small the circle.

    • This is much like the bond of sisterhood—no matter where we go, how much time passes, or what challenges arise, true sisterhood remains a constant in our lives, just like the never-ending digits of pi.

  4. The Divine Feminine in Mathematics

    • Ancient cultures linked numbers and sacred geometry to the goddess, the moon, and the cycles of life.

    • Many early mathematicians (who were often women but erased from history) saw pi as a bridge between the material and the divine.

    • Just as women weave the fabric of life and connection, pi weaves the fabric of the universe.

Last night after meditating, I randomly came across a show I never heard of, called Dave. Now, it's not what I would normally be into watching, but there was a certain allure about it that sucked me in. It's essentially about an up-and-coming rap artist that is hustling to make it in the world, kind of like if Entourage was set in the world of social media.

Here's a clip I found on Youtube of the main character and Rachel McAdams at the MET Gala:

Why do I bring this up in this particular post, you ask? Well, while I watched the show, I was working out and stretching at the same time, so I paid attention to everything, including the end credits. I noticed that one of the production companies was called "Matthew 6:33", as in the bible verse, and for whatever reason, that stood out to me. I then researched what that verse was and this is what I found:

"But seek ye first the kindom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added onto you." - Matthew 6:33

This verse is often interpreted as a call to prioritize spiritual growth and alignment with divine principles over material concerns. In the context of the passage, Jesus is telling people not to worry about things like food, clothing, and other material needs, because when they focus on living in alignment with God’s ways, everything else will naturally fall into place.

In a broader sense, it’s a reminder that when you operate from a place of faith, purpose, and integrity, abundance follows—not just in wealth, but in fulfillment, peace, and alignment with your path.

I tried to look up the actual production company, but couldn't find anything with just a google search, which makes me wonder about it even more: is this an actual production company or someone's way of subtly pointing towards this bible verse? It’s almost like a quiet reminder in the middle of all the chaos—like, “Hey, while you’re chasing fame, don’t forget what really matters.” Maybe the production company behind it has deeper values, or they’re intentionally making a statement about the emptiness that may come with that lifestyle.

Watching Dave made me think about how success is often measured by material wealth, social status, and domination in today’s world. But what if there was another way? What if we tapped into a more cyclical, intuitive, and collaborative approach—one that the Divine Feminine represents? Could balancing these energies lead to a more fulfilling, aligned success?

There’s definitely a deep connection here between this and the rest of today's post. Let's try to break it down:

  1. Dave & the Material World – The show is all about chasing fame, success, and validation in an ego-driven industry. It highlights the struggles of content creators and artists trying to "make it" in a world where clout is currency.

  2. Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This verse reminds us to focus on something deeper than material success. It suggests that when we align with spiritual truth and higher purpose, abundance follows naturally.

  3. Pi & the Divine Feminine – Pi represents infinite cycles, the sacred geometry of nature, and the mathematical order behind life itself. In many ways, it aligns with the Divine Feminine, which is about flow, creation, and intuition rather than rigid structures. The modern world, driven by linear thinking and capitalism, has largely suppressed these cyclical, feminine qualities.

The Connection: The World is Crying for Balance

Right now, we’re in a culture obsessed with material wealth, viral fame, and external validation—things Dave explores. But deep down, people are craving something more, something cyclical, connected, and meaningful. The Divine Feminine represents that missing piece—the return to flow, intuition, nurturing, and interconnectedness rather than the constant chase of external success.

Pi Day’s message? We’re not meant to operate in a straight line of endless accumulation. Life is cyclical, like the rhythm of nature and the cycles of women. Matthew 6:33 reminds us that chasing the material won’t bring fulfillment—true abundance comes from alignment with something greater.

Maybe this is the perfect time to remind people: In a world obsessed with chasing, maybe the real answer is to return to flow. The more we embrace the Divine Feminine, the more we can restore balance—both within ourselves and in the world. The Divine Feminine energy isn’t about rejecting material success but about shifting how we approach it—through collaboration, intuition, and alignment instead of burnout and constant striving. Pi, with its infinite, cyclical nature, is a reminder that life isn’t linear; it’s a continuous flow, much like feminine wisdom and the interconnectedness of sisterhood.

As we celebrate Pi Day, a symbol of infinite cycles and divine order, we’re reminded that the world isn’t meant to be linear—it thrives in balance, flow, and reciprocity.

Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek something greater than material wealth, yet much of today’s culture, as reflected in shows like Dave, is fixated on chasing external success. But what if we allowed the Divine Feminine to take its rightful place alongside the drive for success? What if we embraced intuition, collaboration, and sustainability instead of just competition and accumulation? The world is shifting, and perhaps the next evolution isn’t just about who dominates, but who learns to harmonize.

True abundance isn’t just in what we chase—it’s in what we align with.
